In this video I’ll explain which properties you should buy as a starter real estate investor.
If you plan to invest your money into real estate, then this is a must watch video.
Now, I don’t know about your country, but here in the Netherlands, we’ve got different kinds of properties we can buy and live in.
There is the Detached homes or the single family homes, and the moment you’re wealthier, these homes may be bigger of size and with more and more land around it. Farm homes.. at some point But until then… these are not the homes we’re buying to invest our money in.. at least, not to have others to live in it.
For this video, it’s about Buy to Let.
a. Apartments or condo’s, small in size, one or two floors, but big enough for a single person to live in, a couple, or even a small family. There are always people who are looking for such homes to live in.
b. Terraced homes, or townhouses as you may know them. Are homes that have their own entrance, in most cases have a little garden in front maybe, but at least around the back of their home. Most homes look similar, and most homes have multiple floors, at least two, but sometimes even 3. Good for couples and starters
c. The corner homes, the townhouses have an end.. and those homes are very popular among families that prefer to have a little bit of more space, in most cases, these homes are slightly bigger, compared to the townhouses, at least the middle ones.
Price-wise, these homes are slightly more expensive, but a lot more popular as there is slightly more space in most homes. On average, people tend to live a lot longer in these kinds of homes.
d. For an investment, these are 3 types of properties that perform well for tenants, the moment you are looking real estate to buy to let.
