00:00 If you’re into Crypto currencies, you must have heard about Dogecoin and how Elon Musk is having lots of fun and enjoying the influence he has on the people who follow him.
Elon Musk is someone who likes to have some fun time on his social media platforms.
And since he has direct access to his followers, he likes to shoot some seemingly random messages towards his followers.
01:24 Dogecoin was founded by Jackson Palmer, an Adobe software engineer, and the IBM software engineer Billy markus. Together they created Dogecoin with the logo of the doge meme, popular in 2013. After the Dogecoin was released, it took about 2 weeks before the coin grew almost 300%, but soon after it lost its value after a crash of more than 80%.
Lately the coin has been in the news as people on Reddit talked about making Dogecoin the equivalent of GameStop.
And from 28th January this year, people started buying Dogecoin, with a little bit of help of Elon Musk, who has been tweeting about Dogecoin as well. Prices rose with 50% on one day.
03:00 Back in May 2020, Elon tweeted that Tesla’s stock price was too high in his opinion. Causing those stocks to fall 13% that day. He really enjoyed the crash he caused on the stock market.
In the end, Elon Musk has millions of followers, who see him as the big boss, the hero or even the leader who they believe in who also joins them in the fight against the big established institutions.
